Inner Peace

Of late, I have come to realise how important "inner peace" is.

With inner peace, one is able to look at things in the right perspective, handle situations better and see the right from the wrongs more clearly. Most importantly, one will be able to see the silver lining amongst the dark clouds that loom.

If there is a battle fighting within, then more likely than not, the vision will be filled with anger, frustration and impatience.

Being a better person takes a lot of self-awareness and discipline...it will be a tough battle, but not an impossible one.

I try to support by providing constructive feedback, being continuously patient and loving while the storm roars dangerously... but at the end of the day, inner peace can only be found by the individual who looks within... seek and he shall find.

Whatever the outcome, I trust that God will show the right way out and this, I will accept with open arms. I only ask that patience be my guidance in this trying times...and that he wins the battle within.

Inner peace has a lot to do with telling one's ego -

Oi. Enough. Chill.

Generally it takes enormous strength of character to look into yourself and face the chaos; the ugly self inside your heart's mirror.

It's so much easier to be in denial and instead, use anger and unthinking words as a shield to hide one's deficiencies.

It's going to take a LOT of patience and unconditional love to wait out internal conflict. I'm sure you'll persevere... you're made of stronger stuff!

Yes, indeed, LOTS and LOTS of patience...I do hope you are right. We'll have to wait and see.

Not sure if I'll ever want to get used to be the "target" of his shield...I might not be made of as "strong stuff" as you'd think...we'll wait and see lar.

Just hope Lady Patience is by my side, and that the Inner Peace angel will work her magic properly soon :)

Have not trod where you have been... but understand that there will always be strife...

Dunno if one can always turn a deaf ear to hurtful remarks.. but one can learn to keep forgiving... if its worth the price to pay.

Be praying for you! Tis new year.. and let's see if 2009 will bring new insights...
